I am happy to announce that my illustration Rothko’s PBJ has been accepted into the Society of Illustrators 59 competition. Thanks to all the judges for the big honor.
These two drawings, Pollen Pal, and Bird Brain, will be part of the Fourth Annual Coaster Show at La Luz de Jesus gallery in Hollywood, CA. Thanks to Gallery Director, Matt Kennedy for including them in the show. Yes, the works are on coasters.

from my Dis/Re/Con.nect Exhibition at the Lawrence Art Center has been accepted
into Lurzer’s Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2016/17. 5500 entries
were submitted from over 1000 artists from about 50 countries. The book will be
published in the fall of 2016. I am fortunate for this to be the third time in
a row I have been accepted into this competition. The piece was also accepted
into Studio Visit Magazine. 350 images were selected from over 1000 artists. The
Summer 2016 issue will be distributed to gallery curators throughout the
country.
