The painting Web/Rise Above, from my Dis/Re/Con.nect Exhibition at the Lawrence Art Center has been accepted into Lurzer’s Archive 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2016/17. 5500 entries were submitted from over 1000 artists from about 50 countries. The book will be published in the fall of 2016. I am fortunate for this to be the third time in a row I have been accepted into this competition. The piece was also accepted into Studio Visit Magazine. 350 images were selected from over 1000 artists. The Summer 2016 issue will be distributed to gallery curators throughout the country.

A personal work from my sketchbook has been accepted
into American Illustration 35. From 10,003 submissions, the
jury selected, by a majority vote or better, only 339 images
to appear in the book and represent the best pictures
from 2015. Thank you, judges!

illustration update

My Nightlight drawing from my In Between show at Wonder
Fair Gallery has been used again as a beer label for Collective
Arts Brewing in Hamilton, Ontario. This time around, it was put
on cans for their Stranger Than Fiction Porter. Very tasty stuff!
