American Illustration 30, Plus The Smirk Magazine Interview

In some belated news, the diptych above was selected to be one

of 316 images from over 7000 entries to appear in the

American Illustration 30 annual. The book will be distributed

worldwide this fall after the big release party in New York.

In other good news, I was recently interviewed in The Smirk Magazine,

Issue #3. A special thanks to Patricia and Bea, from Barcelona, Spain,

Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles

A bronze medal was awarded to this series of drawings

in this years Illustration West 49 juried competition.

The drawings were done for the book The Feast Nearby,

by Robin Mather. Work from the competition will be on

exhibit at Gallery Nucleus.

This painting (originally done for the La Luz de Jesus Gallery), and the

experimental collage were both accepted into Illustration West 49.

The juried competition will be on exhibit at Gallery Nucleus.

These four pieces were accepted into the recently published

juried collection of international illustrations. The book is

produced by 3x3, the magazine of contemporary illustration.
